Day 6 Cahirisveen to Spa

Would it fall down if the vine wasn't there.

It just gets more beautiful

Not only water but interesting rocks

Looking down from Connor Pass. I climbed up rocks like this with a man half my age, as I thought it a bit dangerous to attempt alone. There was a lake at the top.

Day 5 Argrom to Cahirisiveen

Real Irish shamrocks growing in a forest I walked through to go to another stone circle, no sign to say how far and it was kms but worth the walk.

beauty beauty beauty

The sheep told me to take the other road!

One of the newer buildings. In all the years they still don't make as good a coffee as Australia.

day 4 Toomore to Argrom

Can you belive Ireland is the same size as Tasmania, but has 7500kms of coast line, including islands.

The Italian garden on Garinish Island. The whole island is garden with lots of Australian tree, the climate is not typically Irish.

When I stopped at my B&B I had time to walk down to some caves I had noticed as I drove past. I walked back around the cliffs. truely amazing.

Day 3, Cork to Toomore

The scenery is so beautiful I have to stop at evey turn. taking about 150 photos a day, the water is so clear and blue.

not only beautiful water but stone circles as well

the west cork scenic route lives up to its name

Second day on the road

Beautiful water,

Mahons waterall, not a patch on Powerscourt but a view to the ocean from the parking lot.

The first Irish lady to be processed at Ellis Island because of the famine.

A view over Dublin on a day trip to Wicklow Mountains, we were lucky the weather was good.

Outside the Museum of Art in Dublin where I saw the original 'Goose Girl' A print had been in my Crucis Street house and wss ruined during the water mishap. I now have a new print.

I wondered why it had poured rain the night I was to leave Dublin. The waterfall at Powerscourt was better with the rain.

some photos

At Lands End, weather fine, cool and windy

At Tintagel Castle after climbing the steps to the second part of the castle grounds
self portrait!

The Mitchell Library had been renovated since my last visit, the dining area was lovely but why did they pick clear back chairs.

Doorways in Dublin were always interesting

At the lamp posts were beautiful.

Driving Ireland

no photos but wow, what scenery, travelled from Dublin via Powerscourt waterfall, after heavy rain it was a sight to see. then down to Wexford and across a ferry to East Passage and Tranmore, then travelling to Cork, and along all the coast roads and now in Kenmare. Have downloaded so many photos and each day take more.
