In Brisbane
The last two months have been restricted and while I made a quick trip down south, I've just been a 'stay at home'. Driving through Taree over many years I loved the sign on a nursery 'When the world wearies and society does not satisfy there is always the garden', the world hasn't wearied and my society satisfies me but there is always a joy in nature's show.
The clematis in Laurices garden, she tells me it has been a mass of blooms this summer and I will have missed it, hope she took some photos.
The beautiful pot plant I had to leave behind in Canberra, have one of the same flower in Brisbane, but this one put on a better show.
A flannel flower at Norah Head, driving along the roads around Gosford they were out in flower everywhere, they join Christmas Bells and Waratah are some of my favourite native flowers,
The lotus in the pool at Pacific Harbour Fiji, always a beautiful sight.
Another native plant putting on a brave show in the arid soil
