Maine and sunny
Islands, islands and more islands
more interesting rocks, people here sit out on chairs to admire the view
I call this 'American Excess', most pancakes are served with bacon and sausage dripping with maple syrup, I ordered blueberries with my pancakes and decided some cream would be nice, the fake cream was at least 10cm at the top
The Boothbay botanical gardens where lovely even though its the end of season,
A holiday home, lucky I was able to walk along the white rocks with silica, as in many places the coast is private property with a private road and dire signs of what will happen to trespassers

Hi Jennifer
I am finally moving into the near era of blog blog blog. Yes I know it has taken a long time, but I am still resisting texting. Love following you around the place and sharing the beautiful things you see and hearing about the people you meet. You must have seen quite a bit of the States to date, but hey a lot more to go. Good to see you are enjoying yourself. Deb, Linda and I caught up last week, first time in many many months so had a lot to talk about. I think both ladies keep you updated to I won't double up. My grandchildren are growing up fast and they take up a lot of my time. Mind you that's the way I like it. Want to bond with them whilst they are young so they at least recognise me when I arrive on the doorstep. The family moved into a much bigger house in Buderim so Miss Lilli is much happier and can run around and create mischief. Malakai is now 3 months old and quite the young man. He is definitely a boy and fortunately not as hypo as his sister. I am now working in the Government....only temping but it will do for a while until I sort out what I want to do. It is an interesting department, Infrastructure and Planning for Qld. So I get to read all about what's going on. There is certainly a lot happening but I guess with so many people flooding into Queensland it is to be expected. Juris and I stayed in a beautiful apartmenton the weekend overlooking the ocean at Main Beach. It was so good to get away from the maddening crowds and take some time out together. We walked along the beach, had some lovely food and vino and read a book etc etc. Well my darling, hope all continues to go well in your life and I look forward to keeping up with your travelog and hopefully see you when you next touch down in Brisbane. Any idea when that will be?
Bye for now
Alex
