Day 11. Sligo to Cruit Island
I stopped the night at Sligo as that was where one of my ancestors had been born in 1786. He was a free settler who decided to leave Ireland
As I was finding my way to another amazing headland I found this little waterfall
After driving up a very dangerous narrow road only frequented by keen tourists I had my photo taken standing near the cliff edge. these cliffs are the highest in Europe.
I walked further up the high hill, good steps made it easier to get this view
On the way down there is a chair made out of rock, should have had the rest on the way up but someone else was resting
One of the views from the Cruit Island Golf Course. This area is dotted with small rock islands and my B&B had the most beautiful views of water and rocks
